Sancta Machina
SANCTA MACHINA is an aesthetic and symbolic exploration of inner strength understood as deep identity. The collection stems from an intimate connection with the figure of Joan of Arc, which emerged when the designer, at just nine years old, saw her statue in Orléans for the first time. That upright and luminous figure silently marked his imagination and, over time, transformed into the desire to pay her his own tribute. Although her figure has been reinterpreted on numerous occasions, SANCTA MACHINA responds to a personal impulse that is finally taking shape. The proposal inhabits a territory between the spiritual and the structural, between metallic light and the shadow of fire. Through materials such as organza, faux leather, fur, and burnt lace, the collection addresses the idea of regeneration: the body that burns, mutates, and is reborn. SANCTA MACHINA is a dialogue between the child who contemplated that statue and the creator who today transforms that impression into identity: a statement of intimate resistance.“I do not wear armor. I am the armor.”
